It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christian Lovette (Watha, North Carolina), who passed away on May 23, 2026, at the age of 20, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfather Billy; his great-grandparents, Ruby Floyd and Novene Merritt (Wanda Merritt); and his uncle Christopher Merritt. He is survived by: his parents, Courtney Byrd (Jeremy Byrd) and Eric Lovette; his sister Kaylee Lovette; his grandparents, Pamala Sanderson, Victor Merritt, Ida and Clyde Lovette; his aunts, Brooke Hatcher (Brenton), Amanda Whaley (Nick) and Trudy Stephens; and his uncle Gary Lovette (Darleen).
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Riverview Memorial Park.
