He is survived by: his wife Sara Jane Horrell; his sons, Michael Earl Lanier and Clint McCloud Lanier (Becky); his grandchildren, David Matthew Peterson, Grace McCloud Lanier Clemmons and Jacob Clint Thomas Lanier; his great grandchildren, Jensen and Judsen Clemmons; and his siblings, David Lanier (Merle), Julian Lanier, Ethel Jane Wells (Charles) and Raymond Lanier. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
