He was predeceased by: his parents, Buren Harrelson and Ruth Harrelson; his wife Gloria; and his brothers, Edward, Terry Harrelson and Jimmy Rogers.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Adams (Johnny McCaskill) of Mint Hill, Sherry Gary of Charlotte, Shawn McKinney (Matt) of Stanley and Shane Harrelson (Jessica Ellis) of Stanley; and his sister Patricia Story. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
