She is survived by: her husband Jerry Couick of Waxhaw, NC; her children, Rodney Couick (Lucinda) of Waxhaw, Robert Couick (Bonnie) of Waxhaw and Ann Couick Herring (Steve) of Wilmington, NC; her siblings, Ruth Courtney, Johnnie Mae Lowder (Sue), Joyce Tarlton, Elaine Starnes, Darlene Bragg and Doug Purser; her grandchildren, Stephanie Olsen, Ashli Ardizzola, Tim Herring, Roger Couick and Kristy Couick; her stepgrandchildren, Anthony Smith, Tyler Smith, James Harris, Cindy Sloop and Tim Sloop, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Lockleigh, Breslan, Heartley, Aria Olsen, Lyla, Tahalia, Gideon Herring, Kenzie, Luca Ardizzola, Haley, Gracie, Colt Turner, Carolina and Dakota Couick; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Elena Parker, Ilaria, Elisa English, Ezra, Simon Harris (Parent James), Savannah, Eli Sloop (Parent Tim Sloop, Jr), John Joyner, Heidi, Evelyn Miles (Parent Cindy), Gannon, Haven, Abel Smith (Parent Anthony) and Liam Smith (Parent Tyler).
Her family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
