He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Lent Hoehl; and his brother Donald Hoehl. He is survived by: his father Donald Hoehl; his wife Alexandria Gigante Hoehl; his children, Joseph, Andrew, Kathryn and Samantha; his brother Michael Hoehl; and his pet Jaks. He is also survived by loving father to his four children.
