She is survived by : her close friend Thomas Morris; her children, Chad Eason and Penny Eason Helms (Jason) of Waxhaw; her grandchildren, Brian Carter, Amanda Carter Alvarez (Mateo), Wyatt Carter, Taylor Helms (Michael Sanders), Bailey Helms (Josh), Josiah Barley (Rachel) and Andrew Eason; her great grandchildren, Charles Carter, Giovanna, Luca Alvarez and Noa Barley; and her siblings, Tangia Hawkins, Shannon Whitaker and Doug Whitaker.
