He was predeceased by: his parents, George Steele and Betty Howey Steele; his wife Glenda Carpenter Steele; and his sister Pam Barrett. He is survived by: his sons, Brad Steele (Amanda) of Monroe, NC and Jared Steele (Amy) of Indian Trail, NC; his brother George Steele (Sharon); and his grandchildren, Taylyn Steele and Levi Steele.
