We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2023, at the age of 79, Walter Robert Pfister of Waxhaw, North Carolina, born in Newton, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Emil Hans Jacob Pfister and Rosly Furst Pfister; and his brother Max Pfister. He is survived by : his wife Christine Pfister of Matthews; his children, Melanie Pfister Howard (Jeff) and Walter Peter Pfister; his grandchildren, Jack Howard of Charlotte, Sophie Howard of Charlotte, Darcy Howard of Charlotte, Drew Howard of Charlotte, Lucy Howard of Charlotte and Ruby Howard of Charlotte; his brother Emil Pfister (Jodye) of Greenville, SC; his sister-in-law Patsy Pfister of Waxhaw, NC; and his nieces and nephews, Bill Pfister (Tricia), Dr. Robert Pfister (Lexie), Jeanne Baucom (Gary), Julie Brownfield (Scott) and Susan Cartwright (Ben).
