Tara King Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tara King in Wayne County, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 4, 2026 at the age of 37. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Tara King to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father Christopher "Doug" King; and her grandparents, Doug, Dot King and Ray Warren. She is survived by: her mother Tanya Warren King of Rose Hill; her children, Levi Powell, Dakota Powell and Makaylynn Rene'Powell; her siblings, Jessica K. Blanck (Lucas) of Cary and Tyler King (Mary Elizabeth Sides) of Rose Hill; her grandmother Patti Warren of Newton Grove; and her nieces and nephews, Rivers Wrenn, Anna Catherine Wrenn and Gabriel Blanck.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Mount Vernon Baptist Church (3790 Faison Hwy, Clinton, NC 28328).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be directed to Tara's mother, Tanya King, to assist with final expenses.
