The memory of Addie Carolyn Conard of Waynesville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 20, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Addie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Addie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Henry and Nola McGaha Conard; and her siblings, Pless White, Hollis Conard, Tommy Conard, Rob Conard, Della Brackett and Sara Nelson.
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn; her son-in-law Lee Brow; her sister Louise Clontz; and her grandson Lee Edward Brow, Jr.. She is also survived by grandchildren; and a host of special nieces and nephews that she loved as her own children.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Garrett Funeral Home (460 N Main St, Clyde, NC 28721). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Garrett Funeral Home (460 N Main St, Clyde, NC 28721).
