He was predeceased by: his son David Allen; his parents, Reeves Allen and Irene Trantham Allen; his siblings, Frankie Thompson, Melvin Allen (Joyce) and Sheila Rohrer (Eric); and his parents-in-law, Ray and Dorothy Reeves Heffner.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Estes Allen; his daughters, Kristie and Heather Allen; his granddaughter Mikayla Allen (Spartan); and his siblings, John Allen (Mary Ellen), Robert Allen (Anna), Bobby Gene Allen (Peggy Melville), Mary Shook (Ron), Linda Reece and Gary Allen (Connie). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Garrett Funerals and Cremations (460 N Main St, Waynesville, NC 28786). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hazelwood Baptist Church (265 Hazelwood Ave, Waynesville, NC 28786). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at the Our Family Cemetery.
