It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cooper Lagreca (Waynesville, North Carolina), born in Greenwood, South Carolina, who passed away on January 18, 2020, at the age of 13, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Jillian LaGreca and Anthony LaGreca; her grandparents, David, Pamela Floyd of Waynesville, Janet, Eddie Brown of Hodges and Betty LaGreca of Abbeville; her great-grandparents, C. D., Padgett of Waynesville, Norma Jean Rucker of Cayce and Willie Floyd of Cayce; and her half-sister MacKenzi Babb.

“cooper was my best friend in elementary school i remember how me her and katherine would play animal jam in class and trade lps at lunch, when we got in middle school we separated a little but the little amount of time i had with her was still filled with laughter, i remember how we would play games outside and would hate to run every year for the school. i honestly couldn’t believe it when i first heard it’s been 2 years and it just now feels real. she will forever shine like gold in my memorys”
