It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elda P. Jackson of Waynesville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eufrasio Pelissero and Anna Bolly Pelissero; her husband James Jackson; and her siblings, Mary Thomas, Helen Pelissero, Harry and Louis Pelissero.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Bradley, Terry Benton (Kathy) and James Jackson, Jr.; her stepsons, Gary Jackson and Larry Jackson (Judy); her sister Anne Toews; and her grandchildren, Charlie, David, Timothy, Matthew, Morgan, Austin, Katelyn, Jacob, Rebekah and Joshua. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
