She is survived by: her children, John Mitchell (Gloria) of Houston, Gary Mitchell (Janie) of Las Vegas and Jackie Goforth (Steve) of Waynesville, NC.; and her nephew Dwain Scruggs. She is also survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
