It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Cummings Walker of Waynesville, North Carolina, born in Canton, North Carolina, who passed away on March 30, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ethel Best Walker and Joseph Howell "Ted" Walker; and his brother Joseph "Joe" Walker. He is survived by : his wife Jean Rogers Walker; his son Alan; his daughter-in-law Robin Walker of Waynesville, NC; his granddaughter Laurel; his grandson-in-law Dr. Justin Van Beusecum; his great grandchild Philip "Phip" Graham Van Beusecum of Mount Pleasant, SC.; and his sister-in-law Lib Walker of Waynesville, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, grand nieces, and nephews.
