He is survived by: his wife Hiroko (Susie); his children, Patricia Austin (late Joseph) and Charles (Molly); his grandchildren, Katherine Watkins (Erik), Emily Austin (Chris), Sarah Hinson and Tori Hinson; and his great grandchildren, Sophia Watkins and Luke Watkins.
