With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan Stonerock of Waynesville, North Carolina, born in Decatur, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joan left this world on September 24, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son-in-law Bob Miller; and her siblings, Jeanie Corman and Richard Estell. She is survived by: her daughter Ronda Miller; her grandchildren, Jennifer Moody (Paul) and Dorian Miller (Emily); her great grandchildren, Hailey Price, Robert Stonerock (Brooke), Ivalee Miller and Cheyenne Robbins; her great great grandchild Rhett Stonerock; and her brother Phillip Estell (Rhonda). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Old Pathway Baptist Church (44 Pinto Pl, Waynesville, NC 28785).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joan may be made to Old Pathway Baptist Church.
