She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wayne and Lona Messer McElroy; her husband Wade Ledford; her sister Flora McElroy Ball; and her daughter-in-law LuAnn Ledford.
She is survived by: her sons, Keith Ledford (Gwen) of Waynesville and Kevin Ledford of Waynesville; her sisters, Geraldine Parkins of Clyde and Linda Ayers of Candler; her grandchildren, Andy Ledford (Courtney), Will Ledford (Erin), Erin Thorne (Zach), Emily Schack (Mike) and Chad Liner (Gaelyn); and her great grandchildren, Kennedy Ledford, Cambelle Ledford, Parker Ledford, Lila Ledford and Bo Thorne.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Smoky Mountain Cremations & Funeral Service (3732 Soco Rd, Maggie Valley, NC 28751). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
