He is survived by: his wife Charlene Avrunin; his children, Steven Semken (Ingrid), Holly Malone and Abby Avrunin (Brian); his sister Stephanie Waldman (Ross); his grandchildren, Fenna Semken (Jack), Nickolas Malone (Oberon) and Benjamin Malone; and his sister-in-law Cherie Pattishall (Mike). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the First Baptist Church of Waynesville (100 S Main St, Waynesville, NC 28786). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Wells Reception Center (33 Wells Events Wy, Waynesville, NC 28786). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Waynesville (100 S Main St, Waynesville, NC 28786).
