It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patsy Henry of Waynesville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Grooms (Dorothy Moore) and Gladys Grooms. She is survived by: her sons, Pike Henry and Dallas Henry (Carla); her granddaughter Sadie; her significant other John Queen; her significant other's children, Caroline Ottinger (John) and Camden Nelson (Kent); and her siblings, Brenda Clark, Dianna Moore and Greg Moore.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Wells Funeral Home - Waynesville (296 N Main St, Waynesville, NC 28786). A reception will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wells Events & Reception Center (33 Wells Events Wy, Waynesville, NC 28786).
In honor of Pat's legacy, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Salvation Army of Haywood County at P.O. Box 358, Waynesville, NC 28786 in lieu of flowers.
