Riddle and Joseph "Seth" Riddle; his nephew David Inman; his siblings, Woodrow "Woody" Riddle and Maxine R. Inman; his siblings-in-law, James W. Sloan and Polly Anna Palmer Sloan; his niece Mildred "Millie" Sloan Hotard; and his siblings-in-law, Glenn Swanner, Scooter McCrary and Rebecca Riddle.
He is survived by: his wife Kaye Sloan Banther-Riddle; his sons, James R. Riddle (Becky) and Joseph D. Riddle (Tina); his stepdaughters, Lora B. Inman (Jimmy), Julia B. Vecchio-Hidalgo and Brenda B. Israel (Jeff); his siblings, Eddie Riddle, Roy Riddle (Brenda), June Swanger and Renell McCrary; his grandson Jacob Riddle (Morgan); his great grandchild Harmony Riddle; his grandson Malachi (Charity); his great grandchildren, Oliver, Henry and Charles Riddle; his grandchildren, Addison Riddle and John Inman (Brittany); his great grandchildren, Jonathon, James and Wade Inman; his grandsons, Jesse A. Inman and Casey C. Vecchio (Aleitha); his great grandchildren, Brayson, Colter and Octavia Vecchio; his granddaughter Maddy Jo Presley (Braxton); his great grandchildren, Henllee, John Weaver Turner and Karsyn Presley; his grandchildren, Queitha Vecchio, Jose Vecchio (Anna) and Chelsie Rathbone (Nathan); his great grandchild Wyatt; his granddaughter Haley Fox; his great grandchildren, Carter and Kenley Browning; his grandchildren, Rikki Gates (Anthony), Sloan Carpenter and Isaiah Israel; and his brothers-in-law, Gary Sloan and John Sloan (Kray).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Canton First Baptist Church (208 Academy St, Canton, NC 28716). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
