He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred M. Williams and Mabel Godwin Williams; his brother Rodney Earl Williams of Myrtle Beach, SC; his siblings-in-law, William Edward Floyd Jr., Hillman Floyd of Henderson and Jane Thaxton (Bob) of Wilson; his extended family Marina Nowell of Winston Salem; and his niece Ellen Hardy of Oxford.
He is survived by: his wife Julia Ellen Floyd; his extended family Kathryn Hawkins Edwards of Danville, VA; and his sister-in-law Francis Floyd of Henderson.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Samaritan's Purse, or Turning Point, a ministry of Dr. David Jeremiah.
