As we bid Sandra farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Sandra is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her mother Anna Bell Hill (Kuykendall); her stepfather Dow Hill; her father James Mack Caldwell Jr.; her brother Ronnie Ray Caldwell; and her brother-in-law Bob Scott.
She is survived by: her siblings, Darlene Scott (Caldwell) and Keith Hill; her sister-in-law Lucy Lowe Hill; and her niece Kelly Ann Scott.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wells Funeral Home - Waynesville (296 N Main St, Waynesville, NC 28786). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a children's charity of choice in Sandy's memory.
