He is survived by: his wife Lynn Smathers Shelton; his children, Rebecca Lynn Shelton (Tyler Crisp) and Chesnie Long (Shane); his sister Barbara Sanders (Cliff); his grandchildren, Britney, Brantley, Serenity, McKinley and Langston; and his aunt Christine Childers.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Donations may be made to the family in honor of Tony's memory.
