He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stephens and Anna Stephens. He is survived by: his wife Betty Stephens; his children, Andrea (Onnie) Simmons (Terry) and Rusty Stephens; his grandchildren, Cash Simmons and Jace Simmons; and his siblings, Doyce Stephens (Biddie) and Belinda Bankston (David).
A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Ninevah Baptist Church (931 Country Club Dr, Waynesville, NC 28786).
