She is survived by : her children, Sherry Painter (Ron) of Troy, AL, Ray Hunter (Nancy) of Asheville, Terry Hunter (Dana) of Arden and Kevin Hunter (Shannon) of Weaverville; her grandchildren, Michele "Mikki" Lewis (Steve), Frank Painter (Meredith), Jon Painter (Krista) and Susan Moore Herron (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Evyn, Madison Painter, Dalton, Dakota Haney and Destiny Herron.
