It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claudia Fox Green (Weaverville, North Carolina), who passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Claudia Fox farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Claudia Fox is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Gennie Allen Fox and Claude Fox; and her husband Joe Green. She is survived by : her sons, Joe Keith Green (Mark Starr), George Marq Green and Matthew Allen Green; and her niece Kate Welch Martin. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 1:15 PM to 2:15 PM at the Chapel of West Funeral Home (17 Merrimon Ave, Weaverville, NC 28787). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church (3757 Eller Ford Rd, Weaverville, NC 28787).
