He was predeceased by: his father Billie Eugene Lyda; and his wife Beverly Denise Maxwell Lyda. He is survived by: his children, Chris Lyda of Arden, Jennifer Lyda of Lenoir, Stephen Lyda of Black Mountain and Crystal Misenheimer of Asheville; and his grandchildren, Caiden Lyda of Lenoir, Mikha Lyda of Lenoir, Malikhi Lyda of Lenoir, Kylie Miller of Black Mountain and David Misenheimer of Asheville. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, mother-in-law, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
