He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry McKinney, Sr. and Betty Hensley McKinney. He is survived by: his wife Rene Crane McKinney; his children, David McKinney III and Katie McKinney; his daughter-in-law Stacy Teasley (Larry); his siblings, Deborah McKinney and Robin McKinney (Sheila); his brother-in-law Billy Webb; his grandsons, Joshua McKinney (Sarah-May) and Jeremy McKinney; his great grandchildren, Virginia and Aldo McKinney; and his grandchildren-in-law, Samantha Deckrow, Aaron Teasley and Kendra Teasley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
