With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Williams of Weaverville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 27, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact David had on those he encountered along his journey. Though David may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Britt Williams and Juanita Delores Lloyd Williams; his siblings, Marsha Nash and Bruce Williams; his father-in-law Eugene DeHart; and his niece Heather Foster.
He is survived by: his wife Gail DeHart Williams; his daughters, Amber Renee and Brittany Taylor Williams; his siblings, Jeannette Williams and Calven Williams (Leah); and his mother-in-law Edith Mae DeHart. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service (7626 NC-213, Mars Hill, NC 28754). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
