It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Everett Calvin Hensley of Weaverville, North Carolina, born in Madison, North Carolina, who passed away on December 10, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hensley and Althea Hensley; and his siblings, Sarah Jane Duck, Mammie Hensley, Dorothy Yearout, Garrett Harrison, Baxter and Coy Hensley.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ballew Hensley; his daughter Donna Gail Hensley Garrison (Lewis "Luke"); his grandchildren, Karah Wilson (Chris) and Adam Garrison (Ivy); and his great grandchildren, Talon, Kamryn, Levi Garrison and Quentin Wilson.
