He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Rufus Cole, Fern (Leah Arrowood), Bill, Dolly Buckner, Joyce Smith, Wilburn and Ponese Buckner; his uncle Terry Buckner; and his brother Timothy Michael Cole.
He is survived by: his parents, Vickie Buckner Benkelman (David) and Michael Cole (Shirley); his girlfriend Katie Shook; and his pet Remington.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service (7626 NC-213, Mars Hill, NC 28754). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
