He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Story Etheridge; his sons, Joseph "Joey" Etheridge, Jr. of Tokyo, Jonathan Etheridge of Charleston, SC and Mark Etheridge of Clayton, NC; his grandchildren, Kai, Erin Etheridge, Amelia, Colson Etheridge, Karolyne and Wyatt Etheridge; and also Bill Faison.
