She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Glenn and Nettie Mabel Buckner Ballard; her husband Howard Wilson; and her sisters, Vivian Chambers and Sylvia Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Wilson of Mars Hill, Mike Wilson of Alexander and Lisa Pagel (Keith Pagel) of Weaverville; her siblings, Carolyn Wilson of Weaverville and Bruce Ballard of Raleigh; and her grandchildren, Daniel Wilson of Atlanta, Georgia, Brian Wilson of Fairview, Kyler Wilson of Candler, Ashley Bishop of Weaverville, Payton Smith of Clyde and Justin Bishop of Weaverville. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
