She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Ballew and Beatrice Ballew; and her husband Harold E. Ray. She is survived by: her son Steve Ray, Sr.; and her grandchildren, Krystal Davis of Weaverville, Steve Ray, Jr. of Asheville, Matthew Ray of Columbus, IN and Michael Ray. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
