It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Edwards of Weaverville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Edwards and Florence Edwards; and his son Darrell Edwards. He is survived by : his wife Patsy Rice Edwards; his children, Chris Edwards (Becky) and Stephanie Frisbee (Daryl); his siblings, Doris Wilson and Rev. Larry Edwards (Joyce); and his grandchildren, Tyson, Hannah Edwards and Savannah Frisbee.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church (754 Aiken Rd, Asheville, NC 28804). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at the same location.
