He was predeceased by: his father David Orville Whitson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Whitson; his children, Lisa Ann Roberts (Keith) and David Michael Whitson; his grandchildren, Kyle Roberts (Jessie), Kourtni Rogers (Grady), Kaitlyn Norton (Lee), Dalton Whitson, Delaney Goforth and Leah Treadway; his great grandchildren, Avery, Garrett, Kady, Kynlee, Kyeler, Karoline, Griffin, Karlyn, Kallie and Kollins; and his siblings, Charles Whitson (Margie), Brenda Angel and Sheron Mull (Ronnie).
