He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Wesley Propst and Beatrice Howell Propst; his son Richard (Rick); and his siblings, Wesley, Ken Propst, Betty Baker, Peggy Angley and Barbara Andrews.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Anne Deal; his daughters, Patrice E. Propst and Janice G. Propst; and his brother Phillip A. Propst. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
