She was predeceased by : her parents, Arlie Luther Essick Sr. and Girla Lily Kinney Essick; her spouse Glen Roscoe Shoaf; her son Glen David Shoaf; and her siblings, Agnes Adkins, Arwilda Everhart, Mintie Everhart, Arlie (A. L.), Winfred, Rueben and Ralph.

She is survived by : her daughter Myra Spach (Mick); her daughter-in-law Barbara Shoaf; her grandchildren, Patrick Spach and Leslie Shoaf; and her great grandchildren, Cooper Spach, Nora Schmid and Lisette Spach. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
