We are sad to announce that, on December 24, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Harriett Sides of Welcome, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harry Hartley and Sarah Hartley of Welcome; her husband Larry Sides; her children, Scott Sides (Mary) and Salli Steward (Rob); her grandchildren, Dalton Sides (Katie), Alex Steward, Zachary Sides and Emma Steward; and her brother William Hartley (Melinda). She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers please learn to make her recipe for potato salad which is basically the glue that holds society together. Or donations can be made to Duke Children’s Hospital who in concert with God healed her grandson Zachary of a devastating illness when he was young.
