With solemn reverence, we commemorate Carl Davis Ray Sr. (Wendell, North Carolina), whose life came to an end on June 2, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pugh Ray and Josephine Smith Ray; and his brothers, Tommy, Riley and Roland Ray.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Puryear Ray; his siblings, JP Ray, Glenn Ray and Ava Ray; his sons, Carl Ray Jr. and Jerry Ray; and his grandsons, Christian Ray and Anthony Ray.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Bethany Baptist Church (3417 Rolesville Rd, Wendell, NC 27591). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
