He is survived by: his wife Peggy Johnson Lewis; his brother Gerald Lewis; his brother-in-law Al Johnson; his nieces, Jackie Strickland, Yvette Morgan (Billy) and Jenny Richards (Chad); and his nephew Alton Johnson Jr..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory (944 Old Knight Rd, Knightdale, NC 27545). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel (944 Old Knight Rd, Knightdale, NC 27545).
