He is survived by: his parents, William Phelps and June Phelps; his sister Katherine Laymon (Daniel); and his nieces, Palmer and Maisie Laymon.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory (211 W 3rd St, Wendell, NC 27591). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
