She was predeceased by: her parents, James Nelson O'Neal and Rosa Lee Congleton; her former husband Tony Richardson; and her brother Danny O'Neal. She is survived by: her husband Michael A. Peoples; her sons, Shane Richardson (Hope) and Kevin Richardson (Tina); her grandchildren, Jacob Richardson, Alayna Richardson, Cameron Richardson, Henry Richardson, Carter Seese and Ayden Seese; and her sister Sandra Temple (Terry). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Baptist Tabernacle Church (1599 NC-231, Wendell, NC 27591). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Baptist Tabernacle Church or Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
