She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Martin Watson and Lena Dora Williford Watson; and her daughter Peggy Lena F. Gullie. She is survived by: her children, Shirley Faison Creech and Ronald "Ronnie" Hillard Faison; her grandchildren, Angie Morgan (Mike), Matt Creech (Wendy), Brian Gullie (Sarah) and Andrew Gullie (Amanda); and her great grandchildren, Mason Morgan, Bryce Gullie, Julianna Gullie and Judson Gullie.
