It is with sadness that the passing of Joseph John Kraus (Wendell, North Carolina) is shared. Joseph, born on August 2, 1937, passed away on October 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Joseph and Margaret Roth Kraus of Kings Co. He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Kraus; his children, Michael J. Kraus (Diane), Andrew J. Kraus and Suzanne Schultz (Louis); his grandchildren, Ryan Kraus (Patricia), Megan Kraus, Benjamin Giustiniani (Chloe), Grace Giustiniani, Matthew Giustiniani and Lauren Schultz; and his great grandchildren, Oliver Kraus and Emery Giustiniani. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory (211 W 3rd St, Wendell, NC 27591). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Eugene Catholic Church (810 Lions Club Rd, Wendell, NC 27591).
