She was predeceased by: her parents, Jennis Morriel Wainwright and Betty Elizabeth Cole Wainwright. She is survived by: her children, Crystal Wood (Joey) and Stacey O'Neal (Regina); her grandchildren, Chase Wood (Yvan), Chelsea Wood, Reid Wood and Tyler O'Neal; and her siblings, Jennis Wainwright (Teresa) and Jackie O'Neal (Danny). She is also survived by three nephews; and two nieces.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel (211 W 3rd St, Wendell, NC 27591). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
