We announce the death of Kenneth Edward Rudder Jr. in Wendell, North Carolina, born in Halifax, Virginia, who passed away on July 31, 2026, at the age of 79. Kenneth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Rudder and Margaret Rudder. He is survived by: his spouse Bobbie Sue; his children, Jason Rudder (Cynthia), Steven Rudder (Alex) and Becky Sykes (John); his siblings, David Rudder (Wendell), Tommy Rudder (TN) and Judy Aesy (VA); his grandchildren, Collins Oliver (Jackson), Cameron Rudder, Reagan Rudder, Libby Rudder and Caroline Sykes; and his great grandchildren, Halston Oliver and Harlow Oliver.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Wendell Baptist Children's Ministry for camp scholarships.
