He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Witt and Agnes Hudson Witt; his brother George Witt; and his stepbrothers, Ralph Fairbanks and Richard "Dick" Fairbanks.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Bonnell Witt; his sons, Ira Witt (Karen) and John Witt (America); and his stepsons, Gregory "Greg" Flowers (Tara) and Andrew "Andy" Flowers (Mandy). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Baptist Church or With Love From Jesus Ministries.
