He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hinnant Arnold; his daughters, Aurora Poole (Bobby) of Wendell, NC and Michele Crane (Cole) of Wendell, NC; his granddaughter Bobbie Day (Jason) of Pittsboro; his great grandchild Roman Day; and his siblings, Shirley Harris (Terry) of Justice and Walter Arnold (Kathy) of Canyon Lake. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, April 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel (211 W 3rd St, Wendell, NC 27591).
